With using Java-servlets which is web based, we are not required any special hardware/software to be installed in the client's machine. You can access the system from any location at any time, what you need is just a internet connected PC with a standard browser.
As an Internet-based solution, sellmetrics can capture the simplicity of your favourite web page, making the system simple and enjoyable to use.
The main disadvantages of having a server/client application is that the bulk of the application logic is on the client, there is the problem of client software version control and new version redistribution.
